Don't Let Em' Say You Aint Beautiful

Am back again with some usual rants.. i might bore some of u readers out there but heck i guess blogging is the one place where u can clear ur thoughts highway without a fee ( not true,, look wat hppnd to Raja Petra)..

well anyways,, today wen i ws out i decided to take a break from the shops i was so familiar with and took a weird toll to sit down for once instead and just observe. i dno why i did that but i somehow felt like it. so there i was with a cup of coffee in my hnds just observing observing n observing..

- nearly all the girls i saw had their flaws,, i mean faces burried in a close 2 inch thick makeup.
- the 2-3 girls that did not have make up on were preschool kids..

as i was busy observing lost in my own junk,i saw her.. a girl sitting with her hands wrapped around a coffee mug with no foundation or mascara watsoever.. in her most comfy attire staring back at me..

after observing the surrounding a few mins earlier i began to question this..

did i reli fit in?
in a world that people so awesomely hide their flaws to potray a picture perfect outlook, pretending to care about the things that most people care of?

did i reli deserve to sit there in my almost alien like surrounding, smewhere i knew i did not fit in cos i somehow have no interest in those things almost everyone loves and what most of them expects me to love?

is it wrong if i take a greater interest in facts over the latest product frm Maybelline?

is it wrong for me to prefer to just be me, altho trust me i'm wayy far worse from any miss universe..

and then it striked me what someone once said..

if u think what u look like naturally ain't pretty if ure withut makeup or designer clothes,, do you mean God is stupid? He couldn't complete anything worthwhile? And then i realize..Is that what we are telling each other?

To those normal kid like u n me i'm sure you have been told that you are not pretty, you are not beautiful, so you have to make up.

Okie.. that is quite acceptable,,no? but what if you have been told you are spiritually handicapped, you have been told you are physically handicapped- so u start meditation and yoga to get things straight again and start off on a whole new diet regime taking inspirtion from the Bigeest Loser episodes just to obtain a stick like figure that is 'beautiful' to the world...

you have been told you are socially hndicapped, so u take up diff fake roles just to fit in the easiest social circle u can fit yourself into..

And now if u have let them get so far in ruling ur life, they will be telling you that you are biologically handicapped or telling you much further that your handicap is in your genes..HAH! TRY CHANGING THAT FOR A CHANGE!!

well you see..I have been hearing that for years and years and all i have to say is It is so simple. You have not designed your own ship. You didn't fix your eyes and your nose in the center for yourself. You did not decide what kind of ears and eyebrows you will have. Why you are deciding now how you want to be? That is unless of cos ure a heiress to some reli rich fortune and nip/tuck have been part of ure fav hobby whenever u wna change smtg of ursewf..

Suppose you like to be very beautiful and you end up being very beautiful -- big deal!! God bless u for it.. but if ure doing it to simply 'fit in' or to impress the people around you,, then myyy. you should feel sorry for yourself. cause somehow ur'self' is just something u got without knowing what it reli likes or dislike.

bak to the girl in the mirror..by the end of writting this i see a smile on her face knowing as long she feels 'at home' and true to herself, she'll be bound to fit in anywhere..

ALmost* anywhere..

hey..nice one !!! guess what? this is related to wat was shared at the hillsong concert last wednesday night..indeed, God made us who we are, not to try to change to fit into anywhere.. He didn't make us ordinary but special.. if we simply try to fit in, we would be just ordinary..so yeah, there's no need to try to fit in.. we should accept one another for who he/she is..
